Birregurra's Music Makers turn out in record numbers!
Members of the Birregurra's Gospel Choir and the Ukelele Kollective have been quietly meeting every 2nd Tuesday evening, respectively. Both groups' repertoire, and their reputation, is steadily growing and many have had the opportunity to see them in action at the recent Easter Arts event and at the monthly Community market.
Last Tuesday was a combined soirée as the groups will take a very well deserved break over the month of May. Regular get-togethers will resume in June, after the return of musical director Fiona Brandscheid, and everyone is welcome to join in.
Most of us harbour a musical heart that is bursting to express itself and when given the opportunity to sing or accompany a song with an instrument in a supportive group, a kind of magic happens. Perfectionism flies out of the window and a simple sense fun and joy is experienced amongst the music makers.
Just a normal Tuesday night in Birregurra for the Birregurra Gospel Choir and Ukulele Kollective! We're taking a break...
