Birregurra! Small town - BIG heart!

This event could not have happened without the help, encouragement and enthusiasm of all Birregurrians and I thank you from the bottom of my heart.
Thank you to the music makers - The Gospel Choir, The Ukulele Kollective, The Deans Marsh Singers, The Monday Zither Group and all the musicphiles who brought their varying instruments and tuned up their vocal chords for the night.
Thank you to the community members who gave support in practical things needed. Thank you for letting us use the Anglican Church Hall, thank you for the many contributions to our fabulous supper, thank you for your help in setting up and cleaning up and a special thank you to George at the Post Office, who generously counted up the enormous amount of coins and notes even though our deposit slip clearly stated that Australia Post is not obliged to except such a deposit.
The photos show the tune-up and sound check and the the supper afterwards. Everyone was enjoying themselves too much to actually take photos of the gig but the generic music maker cartoon captures the fun had by all.
Well done Birregurra
