WHAT is the Corangamarah Art Prize? Inaugurated in 2006, the annual Acquisitive Corangamarah Art Prize was conceived to provide the newly built Corangamarah Aged Care Facility in Colac with colour and life. The notion of the award winning collection was to encourage discussion by residents, family and all in the local community and beyond. It brings a sense of pride.
Artists from all over Australia and of course locally are invited to submit an artwork inspired by a contemporary issue or event, demonstrated through the Prize theme con.ceit’16 a concept which is conceived, imagined or formed in the mind, an idea, thought, image, a personal opinion.
