2-session Collage Workshop with David Lancashire - Sat 21st July & Sun 28th July

This exciting workshop runs over 2 sessions. Sat. 21st July & Sat. 28th July.

David will guide you in constructing your own stunning silhouetted collage by using your own collected ephemera and graphic forms.

When: Sat 21st July 10am-4pm & Sat 28th July 10am-1pm
Where: Birregurra Primary School - The Art Room.
Fee: $50 (for both sessions)

Scalpel, Cutting mat, PVA glue, Brush, Scissors, Collection of inspiring paper images (Japanese , scrap book, any magazine images etc), Acrylic paint and brushes ( if you wish to include this medium in your collage). David will have a collection of various papers and images on the day.

David Lancashire is a world-recognised graphic designer who has maintained a career as an artist. He has a wealth of experience in the interpretation of environmental,cultural and natural values, and his long standing collaboration with Indigenous cultures has resulted in world class visitor centres in remote parts of Australia.

His work has been recognised with many awards, and has appeared in numerous Australian and International design publications. David has built an enviable reputation designing everything from a postage stamp to 3 dimensional exhibition spaces. It is David's recent work that has been particularly awarded and praised by his peers, which has resulted in sell out painting exhibitions.

His work is in private collections around the world, as well as Victoria & Albert Museum, Powerhouse Museum and more.
