Still spinning from their last sellout Birregurra show, The Ballad of Backbone Joe, Miles, Joseph and Glen return to Birre to bring us the next edition of their hilarious high-energy junkyard theatre shenanigans. Deliciously dark and exquisitely crafted, Chronicles of a sleepless moon is a tale of dastardly deeds and unfathomable adventure - a funny, sad and surreal fairytale.

The theatre show will be followed by a gig with live band Royale Riot, who will finish the evening with a range of bent and broken rockabilly tunes.

This is a licenced all-ages event and will follow responsible serving of alcohol guidelines. Please be respectful of all attendees and drink in moderation. Please consider car pooling with a designated driver, or alternative transport arrangements if you are planning to have a few drinks - we want everyone to get home safely!

ABOUT THE SHOW

The Butcher and the Doctor are up to something, and the Newsman sniffs a story that will take him deep into the dead heart of Australia. Deliciously dark and exquisitely crafted, Chronicles of a Sleepless Moon is a funny, sad and surreal fairy tale for grown-ups. Inspired by 1920’s radio, backyard invention, and the unique dark setting of the middle of Australia.

This is a fundraiser for Birregurra Cricket Club and is a LICENCED EVENT. NO BYO.
